Hole19

This product was recommended by Craig Emerson from BrewGinner

My go to golf app is Hole19. It’s a GPS range finder, score card, and caddy all wrapped into one mobile app. The best part for me, is I can use my Apple Watch (or Android Wearable if you prefer), and get an instant look into the distances to front, center, back of green from anywhere on the course. If you’re looking for distances to other points of reference, simply pull out your iPhone/Android Phone, and dial in the distance to any point on the hole. There’s a premium feature available for a fee, but the free version gives me everything I need. Bottom Line: One app will give you GPS distances, track your score, and suggest clubs based on distance, to over 40,000 courses in 20+ countries.

Golfshot

This product was recommended by Torben Lonne from DIVE.in

Behind are the times when people played golf with only a club and a ball. Technology has provided golf players with higher quality equipment and gadgets that have definitely enhanced the golfing experience, whether it is for casual players or hardcore/professional ones. A great example of how technology has had a great impact on this sport is the mobile apps we have at our disposal nowadays. Although there are many to choose from, one of the best you could find is Golfshot, which is available for Android, Apple, Apple Watch, and Android Wear. Even though you’ll need premium subscriptions to enjoy all of the features this app has to offer, considering it will step up your game enormously, it is really worth it. The Golfshot app provides augmented reality (AR) views for thousands of courses and holes worldwide while notifying you of any possible dangers in the way. It also allows you to track each shot you hit and which club you were using, a great function to keep track of your progress. Additionally, the Pro app includes games, leaderboards, and tips from professionals to help you improve your performance on the course.
